Some History About V-Ann Trucking

At 18 years old, my father, Vincent L. Mondo Sr. started operating a trucking company. At that time, over 65 years ago, he was using dry vans and flatbeds to deliver corrugated paper. My father became well known in the paper industry due to the dedication and customer loyalty he put forth from day one. His charisma and relentless hard work landed him a business relationship with a major food chain over 30 years ago. Over the years, V-Ann
Trucking continues to strengthen that relationship, delivering grocery loads and managing
their cardboard recycling program with a fleet of dry vans.

In 1981, V-Ann was turned over to me, Vincent L. Mondo Jr. My dad taught me
everything there was to know about the business and most importantly, the value of
customer service. Although the company has seen much growth and change since then,
I still operate the company on the same principles my father founded it upon. I have
expanded the business to include the delivery of ocean containers to and from the
New York and New Jersey piers and rails.
